Christmas / Winter Solstice 2017

Hello!

Seems to have been a busy few weeks since I last posted on Patreon. After a phenomenally busy run up to my recent solo show at Catto Gallery, which opened on October 19th with over 30 large pieces on show, and is still on in a reduced form in their lower ground floor space Catto Below, quickly followed by an amazing opportunity to exhibit 7 new pigment prints with TAG Fine Arts at the IFPDA's Ink Miami. I feel as though I've only just now had time to slow down and catch up with all my other work. Not least our Experimental Print Club. I'm quietly determined to make 2 new pieces for you, which I hope you'll receive in time for the holidays. Would be good to add two more editions to the collection before the New year begins.

A little housekeeping. I read a post from Patreon recently that said they were going to add a small surcharge to your monthly fee. Which I think is a little irritating! I'm beginning to wonder if we should move off Patreon, to a simple monthly DD, as I think we're also being charged bank fees, handling fees, VAT, etc and as such there's quite a lot of money disappearing into the management structure, which of course wasn't the original offering from the platform, but seems to be creeping in as they grow.

Maybe worth thinking about for 2018. If you have any thoughts, do let me know... maybe we're happy where we are?!

I'll look forward to posting some images of work in progress this week / next week, and sending the works out to you very shortly...

Don't hold your breath though - best as ever - Chuck
