London Original Print Fair, The Royal Academy / Promo video
The London Original Print Fair is held annually at The Royal Academy on Piccadilly. In many ways, it's probably my favourite show of the year, perhaps in part because it’s timed to coincide with that fabulous moment when spring begins to usher in the first few days of early summer. It’s a beautiful time to be in the capital.
The fair has a breadth and clarity of work on offer, that seems more engaged, and more enlightening than at many other shows. This comes, I think, from the tightly selected group of dealers who show their artists’ work there, and by the fabulous dialogues they construct between the latest large scale print works and the more historic pieces they are often displayed alongside.
