About the exhibition
Curated by my good friend Deborah Harrison, Revelation at Bristol’s Paintworks was the first large group show I was invited to exhibit at.
Paintworks is a fabulous ex industrial space right on the river just beyond Temple Meads, here in Bristol. It presents what must be the best large exhibition space in the city, and as such the Revelation show provided the inspiration and spring board for the Bristol Contemporary Open which we curated there the following year, with a far larger, more ambitious roster of artists, including many that would go on to be some of the best known artists working in the South West today.
