Radial ONE / a commission for a new house in Wiltshire
I’ve been working on a new commission for a contemporary home in Wiltshire recently, organised by the ever fabulous Jess Lloyd Smith at Modern Art Buyer in Bath.
She recommended the work to her clients who commissioned this laser cut edition at 100cm diameter, to hang in their beautifully designed open plan dining space, located centrally above the table.

Meet the Artist / An interview with Jess Lloyd-Smith at Modern Art Buyer
JLS How did you become an artist / where did you start your artistic training?
CE No idea! How does anyone ‘become an artist’. I think the question is, in some ways, a false premise. I think we can all make art and be artists at different points in our lives, if and when we choose to be. Making art and being an artist are clearly two different disciplines though, two different mindsets.
I guess I’ve only just recently begun to feel that I am an artist, previously I used to think of myself as a maker, or someone who creates artwork, which is an equally interesting proposition of course, but with subtly different goals. A more design oriented focus perhaps, less cerebral, more about making.
Bath in Fashion Week 2016
I’ve been invited to exhibit a few pieces at Jane Austen’s house this April, as part of Bath in Fashion Week 2016, curated by Jessica Lloyd-Smith.
There’s a lot more information about all the events, talks and seminars during the week that you can view online here http://www.bathinfashion.co.uk
Tower 42
Curated by Jessica Lloyd-Smith, the exhibition at Tower 42 was a great opportunity to exhibit work right in the heart of the City of London.
Curious Duke Gallery, a new pop up show curated by Jess Lloyd-Smith, September 2015
Jess Lloyd-Smith's Modern Art Buyer project is hosting a fabulous new exhibition of work at the Curious Duke Gallery, located at the top of Brick Lane, my old stomping ground throughout the nineties.
I'll be showing works including Radial / ONE and Blast FIRST alongside gallery artists Maria Rivans, Bonnie and Clyde, Jane Emberson, Emma Cowlam, Alexander Johnson and Rebecca King. Should be well worth a look.
