Print Club News / 10th December 2025
As we head towards the Winter Solstice, Christmas and the New Year, I wanted to send out my winter Print Club edition in good time for once. As you’ll know, I often leave it until about this time next week, and that has a whole world of knock on effects for decorating the tree, food prep, and all that good stuff!
So, I’ve made two new editions for the festive period, both are versions of drawings I’ve been working on this autumn, and I think it’s fair to say that they are pretty dissimilar, which seems like a good thing to me. I’m also pleased and a little surprised to note that this makes for five new club editions this year, which maybe makes up for some of the years when there have only been three! Not that it’s a competition of course.
If you have any views on whether you prefer these kind of larger full colour works, or would prefer more of the monochrome etchings, or indeed the quirkier cut out or fabric pieces, I’d be happy to hear your views as we head into 2026. I don’t have any particular plan for what happens next, so there’s even the possibility that a judiciously worded email could influence the Spring 26 edition, maybe!
I’m going to send two more emails today, one about each of the two works, and the physical prints will be close behind. I just need to order some more cardboard tubes to pack them into.
If you’re currently unsubscribed, but would like to own these next two editions for your home, please do feel free to rejoin anytime up to Dec 24th, and I’ll send the pair over to you asap.
Wishing you all the best for the holidays, and many thanks for your continued interest in the project!
It remains much appreciated,
Chuck Elliott
