Shimmer

There’s a thought, that somewhere amongst the geometry I originally used for Flow, there must be more to discover, part of that exploration has surfaced as this new series, working title Shimmer, which may or may not ever see the light of day. An initial new image from the series is posted here, and on Flickr. It takes on a more macro view than usual, and indulges in the texture of the forms, ahead of the core geometry, making for a more fluid, less overtly geometric image than I might usually go for. Somewhere amongst these works, new ideas branch off, not all lead to successful prints, but may still be worthy of some daylight.
