Lyric SV is available in two variations: cerulean wave and tangerine dream, alongside a pair of metallic C type editions.
About Lyric SV / tangerine dream
Lyric SV is a systematic variation of the original Lyric geometry, using a new process led idea to create a more liquid treatment, that breaks up the linework with a far more painterly style of abstraction, hopefully without losing too much of the original rhythm that flows through the piece.
The blue edition takes its palette from Hokusai’s wave of course, whilst the orange piece is altogether wilder and more subconscious. There’s an inevitable reference to the amazing electronic music of Tangerine Dream too, synthesised music that seems as extraordinary today as it did when I first stumbled across it back in the eighties.
I love the idea of using the digital systems to remix and reinvent pieces, in much the same way that a contemporary musician might remix a track for a particular band. It’s an idea that I’m going to explore further over the coming years...

Price and dimensions
Lyric SV / tangerine dream is a ten colour archival pigment print on 305gsm, 100% cotton, Hahnemühle fine art paper.
The work can be supplied unframed, or framed and ready to hang. I tend to use fairly minimal glazed and painted tulipwood frames, and set the work ‘straight in’ under the fillets, without a window mount. If you’d like to discuss other framing choices to suit your space please do get in touch.
