Clifton Contemporary / December 2021
Hello, I hope this finds you well and enjoying the festivities in the run up to Christmas and the New Year. It's been a delightfully busy time here, despite Covid, as the UK gallery scene returns to some semblance of normality, long may that continue!
As ever I seem to be miles behind the curve with my news blog, in part because I’ve been working on two new editions for my Experimental Print Club recently. I’ll be posting images of that work in January, but for now I wanted to highlight some of the pieces that I have on show around the UK.
The works will continue to be available to view well into the New Year, so if you’re local to Bristol, or perhaps just passing through, please do drop in and have a look!
Clifton Contemporary is curated by Sarah Brown who has been promoting and supporting my work for several years now. For this latest group exhibition, she’s hung eight of my pieces throughout both of the gallery's main spaces, alongside some great works by Sir Terry Frost, RA and Albert Irvin OBE RA, to name just two. There are some beautiful smaller paintings by Ellie Preston and some sublime bronzes by Julian Cox to enjoy too.
From Sarah Brown, at Clifton Contemporary: We are currently showing work by gallery artists, including a mesmerising series of original prints by Chuck Elliott • Bronzes by Julian Cox • Ceramics by Lamorna Gore and Trevor Lillistone. Also collections by Lynne Cartlidge • Sally Stafford • Ellie Preston, and new work by Lynn Golden.
If you’d like to know more about any of the works, please do click through on the images above, or send me an email. I'll look forward to hearing from you.
With best regards,
Chuck Elliott
